Hi! My name is Allison Pianoforte and I am the Clinical Nurse Educator for Bayshore Medical Center's Emergency Department as well as a liaison to Surgical Services (Same Day Surgery, Operating Room, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, & Medical Day Stay), Ambulatory Care (Women's Center & Interventional Radiology as well as Cardiac Services (Cardiac Catheterization Suite & Cardiac Rehabilitation) for the past 6 years. Prior to entering my role as Emergency Department Educator at BMC, I was a Registered Nurse at Jersey Shore Medical Center in the ED for 8 years. The BMC ED sees approximately 40,000 visits per year and has 29 beds including the Main ED, 5 bed FastTrack/Pediatric Care Center, and 3 bed Crisis Unit. 2019 will surely be another busy year with many challenges.
